In the 2024 snap elections, the bloc of Rassamblement National (RN) won 142 of 577 seats in the National Assembly (17 seats were won by RN's "conservative allies" in their bloc). The party claimed the largest share of the vote, at 37.1%. RN also claimed 3 seats in the Senate, which is indirectly elected.
In the 2022 elections, the RN (then called the Front National) had secured 89 seats.
Following an embezzlement conviction in March 2025, party leader Marine Le Pen is banned from running for any political office until 2030.
