In the 2023 parliamentary election, Perussuomalaiset (PS) secured 20.1% of the vote, landing 46 out of 200 seats in Parliament and finishing as the second-strongest party out of 22 contenders.

This marked an increase of 2.6 percentage points and 7 seats compared to the 2019 election.
In 2024, PS secured 1 of Finland's 15 seats in the European Parliament, and joined the European Conservatives and Reformists group. In 2019, they held 2 of Finland's 13 seats and were part of the Identity and Democracy group.
